Overview
OnlyPoints ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Videos you choose to process — processed locally on your device and not uploaded to our servers
- Short video clips you voluntarily submit through the in-app "Report Issue" feature, used solely to investigate and improve point detection accuracy
- Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app
- Purchase and subscription status via Apple's in-app purchase system
Issue Reports & Submitted Clips
When you use the "Report Issue" feature, a short clip of the point you flagged is uploaded to our secure cloud storage along with metadata describing the reported problem (e.g. point number, duration, and any comments you provide). This data is used exclusively to review and improve the accuracy of the point detection model. We do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties. Submitted clips are deleted once reviewed.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not upload or store videos you process normally — analysis happens entirely on your device
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not collect any personally identifiable information beyond what Apple provides for subscription verification
- We do not collect face data, biometric data, or any data derived from facial recognition or biometric analysis. The app's video analysis is limited to classifying general tennis activity states (active play, idle, serve) and does not detect, identify, or characterize people in any way.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, cloud functions for subscription verification, and secure cloud storage for voluntarily submitted issue reports; data processed and stored in the United States
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — anonymous usage analytics to improve the app; data processed and stored in the United States
- Apple App Store — in-app purchases and subscriptions
International Data Transfers
This app is based in the United States and infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you use OnlyPoints from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Firebase (Google LLC) is covered under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and maintains Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure adequate protection for data transferred from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Legal Basis for Processing (EEA & UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — subscription verification and account management necessary to provide the service
- Legitimate interests — anonymous analytics and voluntarily submitted issue reports used to improve app performance and point detection accuracy
- Legal obligation — retaining records as required by applicable law
Data Retention
Subscription records are retained for as long as your account is active. Voluntarily submitted issue report clips are retained only until reviewed and are then deleted. You can request deletion of any submitted report at any time by contacting us.
